Hi everyone – the time has come. I am officially retiring Sick Snaps in order to focus on making music venues more accessible through my nonprofit, Half Access.

The past 3.5 years have brought so much more into my life than I ever could’ve expected, and it’s all thanks to you for reading, publicists for allowing us to cover their artists, the Portland music scene for being the best, Andrew Le for designing the site you’re looking at, and to the rest of the Sick Snaps team who helped keep content coming your way even at times when I was in over my head.

The Sick Snaps site will always stay up for anyone to revisit. As for me, aside from working on Half Access (and finishing my degree) I am going to be finding new ways to help support the rising artists that I love, and will probably also be occasionally writing about music on a personal blog, and exploring other interests.

Thanks for everything over the past few years. I couldn’t be more grateful to be ending Sick Snaps on a high note, and I am excited about the future.

Please enjoy the final Sick Snaps playlist which was put together by many people who have contributed to Sick Snaps over the years. I asked everyone to pick their five absolute favorite songs of all time and this was the result (although I personally picked like 20 songs whoops). I present to you, the best (but least cohesive) playlist ever:

Signing off for the last time,

Cassie Wilson
