Toronto’s Alvvays embarked on a cross-country North American tour in support of their new record, Antisocialities. The band did a two night performance in Portland at the Doug Fir Lounge. Alvvays acknowledged on stage the humbling experience of adding a second performance due to selling out their first show quickly. For the Portland dates, they brought along Oakland’s Jay Som. It was a night of beautiful music in an intimate setting; the Doug Fir never felt better. Check out some photos of the show:

The World Is A Beautiful Place found themselves in Portland, OR on the 24th of October on their touring cycle in support of their second Epitaph Records release, Always Foreign. The West Coast portion of this tour had support from Mylets and Rozwell Kid, an overall complementary bill that offered technicality, strong songwriting, and a punk-rock aesthetic/energy.
